Ingredients for making date pudding
Pind dates – 2 cups
Mawa (Khoya) – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Dried fruits – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
grated coconut – 1/2 cup
How to make Date Halwa
To make date pudding, first take the pind dates and clean them thoroughly. After that wipe them and take out their seeds and cut them into small pieces. Now take a wok and put ghee in it and keep it on medium flame to heat. When the ghee melts completely after heating, put the pieces of chopped dates in it and fry for about 3 to 4 minutes while stirring with the help of a ladle. Now take mawa and mash it well first. After this, add mawa to the dates and mix it well.

Now add grated coconut and sugar to this mixture and mix it well. Now fry the halwa on low flame for about 5 minutes. During this, keep stirring the pudding with the help of a ladle so that it does not stick to the pan. Cook it till the water present in the mixture dries up completely. After this, add chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios, mix them well and turn off the gas. Now your delicious hot date pudding is ready to serve.
